PizzElla is named after the cook who has inspired Chef Larry Galper since birth—his mother, Elvira, affectionately known as "Ella."
The menu reflects Larry's journey: years spent working in restaurants in Los Angeles and beyond, combined with the food he grew up eating in an Eastern European family led by an incredible home cook.
Our pizzas are a hybrid of New York and Neapolitan styles, while the rest of the menu features California-inspired vegetable & protein plates, elevated salads, handcrafted desserts, and a thoughtfully curated selection of beer and wine.
PizzElla began as a food truck in Miami, serving everywhere from the University of Miami to Ultra Music Festival. In 2025, the truck found a new home in Broward County with weekly residencies throughout Fort Lauderdale.
